Shop Owner Diagnoses Problem With American Politics After Obama Hug Incites Yelp War

People have been hating on a pizza shop on Yelp after the hug heard 'round the world. A lot of the one-star comments and nasty reviews showed up, to later be removed and replaced with positive comments. Said Scott Van Duzer, owner of Big Apple Pizza & Pasta: "There's no middle line anymore, and that's exactly what's wrong with our country right now."

    This is a nice feel-good article. I enjoyed it, but I have 2 small gripes.
    1)The byline "Shop Owner Diagnoses Problem With American Politics" naively led me to expect a bit more depth than:
    "There's no middle line anymore, and that's exactly what's wrong with our country right now." (I'm not sure I could do better in less than 16 words but hardly a 'diagnosis'.)
    and
    2) The "hug" was not entirely spontaneous it had to be cleared with the Secret Service first.

    Wow! The pizza dude is cool. Maybe a little excitable, but cool nonetheless. It is sad that people these days are gonna start boycotting you because you showed someone in a tough job a little love.
