If you know somebody affected by Sandy who needs help, send them to Team Rubicon, an all-veteran volunteer disaster relief organization:

You can also donate to help the vets assist with Sandy relief: $10 will feed a volunteer a meal. $25 will purchase a replacement chainsaw chain. $100 will cover the gas needed to get a team in place.
