I noticed on your site you also work with farmers? Wondering how education for young girls intersects with that? Interesting work you're doing!

Hi Alessandra! Good question. We purchase products - right now coffee and cotton - from fair trade farmers in Uganda and India. The profits from those products go back to schools in those communities, including several girls' schools. The cooperatives we work with are comprised of farmers from different cultural and religious backgrounds, as are the schools. The idea is that by working and learning together, these communities can end cycles of violence and conflict.
