    We are not meant to be herded by the bullhorn. Public Schools should be given more control of their curricula. It shouldn't be about picking STEM or arts programs for all to follow. Creativity burgeons with the liberty to fail or succeed. We would learn from our mistakes over time.

    I do agree that rewarding schools that provide STEM education isn't the best way to guarantee the future success of our students. Project-based education with mentorships seems to be the way to go- whether that includes engineering or art projects.
