Although Super Storm Sandy happened over a year ago, it baffles me that so many people are still without homes. I was recently at place on Long Island & I heard 2 people talking about how their homes are still a mess in the Mastic Beach, NY area. It is sad how many people are still struggling.

This is so sad. So many hours of work just lost! I pray for those who can will reach out and help those who are now in so much need!

If it's of ANY help, I, as a photographer and artist in CT (not represented by anyone) will make ltd ed of many of my photographs and other art pieces and DONATE them to the galleries effected for the holiday sales, and I don't want a penny. It's the least I can do, and you would love my art. It's worthy of consideration. Bernard M Lynch Jr 203.755.0099 OrangeMercury_dot_com PLEASE CONTACT ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! I have archival printers and archival paper and inks, and over 3,500 photos of Grace Jones' show at The Roseland which have never been seen. I was front and center with a Canon w. 18-55mm and would be very happy to donate.

Great to see this type of support. I am here now and I can see funds/grants will be needed through this season as repairs and rebuilding will take months (in the cold, stormy winter). Hopefully, we can develop a micro-grant program to help people with basics after this 2-3 weeks strong interest and major media coverage has died down. Could @AcumenFund manage something like that?
