Sanaz Nezami: Tragically Loses Her Life and Saves the Lives of Seven . . .

Sanaz Nezami was a young Iranian woman, who recently moved to the U.S., got married, and moved to Michigan to pursue an advanced graduate degree in January 2014. On December 9, Sanaz Nezami was pronounced dead following a severe beating from her new husband. Her family in Iran, unable to visit her due to visa restrictions, expressed their final sentiments and affections and granted permission for seven of Sanaz's organs to be donated to people in the U.S. all via a Yahoo! Messenger video call.
