Running and Storytime

I'm a public radio addict, I admit it. So much so that I listen to podcasts while I'm at the gym or running. It's kind of weird, and I don't know anyone else who really does the same. That's why I was interested to see that this small startup from Australia is taking the concept of stories and running to a new level—developing audio stories specifically intended to be listened to while on a run, where the main character is in fact the runner. It's still weird, but I'm intrigued.

    Ha! I do it too. If I know how long I need to run for I will find a KPCC story that matches my length time, my favorite is The Dinner Party and Snap Judgement. If I'm on a treadmill I'll do TED Talks :)

    I don't think this is weird at all. It's great. I love the fact that they're adapting stories to running. How innovative. Plus- public radio is my favorite news source.
