Remembering Sandy with a "Submerged" Mirror

One of the tragedies about tragedies is how quickly people forget: after the news coverage of a disaster fades away, it can be hard to remember how many people still need help. Designer Joe Doucet created this mirror as a reminder of Sandy's destruction. Every time someone walks in front, they appear partially submerged in water. The mirror was auctioned off to help raise money for ongoing Sandy reconstruction.
