Remembering a Photographer's View of Women in the '70s

This New York Times slideshow of photos by Abigail Heyman, who died this week, features some of her black and white images of women in the '70s. She described her book, “Growing Up Female: A Personal Photo-Journal” as “ 'one feminist’s point of view' of the narrow range of choices women had in their lives, which she hoped her work would help broaden." Right on to that.
