Scientists have created a plastic that is flexible, waterproof, can heal itself when cut and conduct electricity through its own "nerves." This material holds the potential to create prosthetic limbs that can send and receive signals to the brain. I just hope that once these bionic limbs are produced, they factor in super-strength so Will Smith can fight off the robot invasion of the future...
