President Obama's Statement on House Passage of Violence Against Women Act

End Trafficking

Great news!! Today the House voted to pass the Senate version of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). This bill also included the re-authorization of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act - the main piece of legislation in the U.S. to address human trafficking. Thank you to everyone who made calls to their Senators and Congressman in support of this bill - this victory is yours! Read President Obama's statement here.
