PHOTOS: Human Shield Guards Women Protesters From Sexual Assault in Tahrir Square

The 2011 ousting of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak was a watershed moment for millions of Egyptians and for world politics. But it was also a time where numerous cases of sexual violence against women protesters and reporters were recorded. The recent uprising against President Mohamed Morsi has sadly seen a return of similar instances, and some have had enough. Egyptian men have taken to task protecting women protesters, and are shown forming a human shield in these powerful photos.
