Philanthropic Colonialism: Warren Buffett's Son Puts the Charitable Industrial Complex on Blast

Peter Buffett, the son of billionaire Warren Buffett says we need to end structural inequality, instead of increasing philanthropy. The wealthy claim they have the solutions to fix the world's problems (including education challenges) then pat themselves on the back for giving back. But, says Buffett, "It’s what I would call “conscience laundering”—feeling better about accumulating more than any one person could possibly need to live on by sprinkling a little around as an act of charity."
