O'Hare Airport Hires Goats to Mow the Lawn

Next time you fly through Chicago, look around for a new part of the ground crew: goats. Following the example of airports like SFO and Seattle-Tacoma, O'Hare and Midway are beginning to use goats for landscaping hard-to-reach areas. Called "the perfect lawn mowers," goats are good for the environment (traditional lawn mowers are even more polluting than cars), and cheap. The goats will work through the spring and summer, along with a shepherd, and then head to a nearby farm in the fall.
