There are few things in this world greater than ice cream. Honestly. And couple it with a mission to help empower, employ and inspire women affected by the Rwandan genocide, and it wins. 100% wins. In 2010, Brooklyn's Blue Marble Ice Cream Shop opened a sister store in Rwanda, not as a charity case, but as a sustainable business venture for positive change (prior to, few Rwandans had ever even heard of ice cream). Recently-released documentary "Sweet Dreams" tells the story in full.
