    This is cool, and backs up what I've noticed anecdotally working for Bay Area startups - even if a business or startup's primary function is a product or other for-profit service, there's a strong imperative to give back somehow or be progressive with regards to business practices.

    I think it's more rewarding to work at a socially responsible company than one that feels like it's only purpose is to generate profit.
