Microbiologist turned artist creates images in bacteria

Zachary Copfer, a US microbiologist is breaking new ground in the sciences and in art. A medium he's deemed "bacteriography," he combined the chemistry of a dark room and a bio-lab. Copfer switches out the paper for bacteria and radiation in place of a traditional enlarger (light source). He hopes this project will change the way we think about bacteria, in our obsessive compulsive anti-biotic/probiotic world. You can contribute to his Kickstarter page in the link below:
