yup. lot's of awesome people throughout history driving progress on this front. pretty cool to see how much energy there is right now through Lean In. At the same time, I do feel like a lot of culture is still stuck in a weird adolescent place that isn't super helpful in elevating our aspirations in line with the society we want to live in. I think I might be specifically referring to the hip hop I listen to on my way to and from work.

It's ironic really. I'm enthralled by the Lean In movement, yet I completely perpetuate the adolescent phase of our culture. Case in point- I only love Lana Del Rey. I'm excited to see who will carry the torch out of this place and into 'adulthood'/ I'm wondering if there is an example of a modern day MAN for ERA (mostly because the desire for equality can't be one-sided).
