Meet the Solutionaries: Students Sharing News of Environmental Solutions Instead of Environmental Problems

There's no shortage of bad news about the environment, and though this bad news has its place, these kids feel that sharing positive news is more inspiring when it comes to creating change.

As the late Jack Layton said: "My friends, love is better than anger. Hope is better than fear. Optimism is better than despair. So let us be loving, hopeful and optimistic. And we’ll change the world.”

    I'm a huge fan of this project. There's definitely a need for bad news to be shared, but without hope for change, it's easy to feel that the worst is inevitable. Balancing the bad news with the good also reminds us that we're not the only people who care and inspires us to do more as well.
