Meet Nada Al-Ahdals, the Inspiring 11-Year-Old Girl Who Escaped Forced Marriage

"I have many dreams, I don't want to be married now," said Al-Ahdals. The 11-year-old Yemeni girl posted a video online of herself discussing the decision she made to run away from home after her mother tried to marry her off for money. The young spitfire is a force to be reckoned with—in her video, she says she wants to pursue her education before getting married and calls attention to the many young children who are forced into marriages without consent.
