Mapdwell: Making Complex Urban Data Easy to Understand

The Sustainable Design Lab at M.I.T. and Boston-based design studio MoDE came together to tackle a big problem: where and how people live makes a big difference for sustainability, but people don't often have enough data to make informed decisions, even if they really want to change. Mapdwell is a new project aimed at making that data clearer. The first application they've published is a tool to see in perfect detail how much solar power a roof can generate (Cambridge-only for now).
