    I like this: “A team is only as good as its slowest runner.”
    You’ve heard “there’s no ‘I’ in team”—everyone has a part to play." I do think being in the mindset of being on a team really helps. I think pow wows and encouraging coach talks are always key. This could happen in business, theater, anything.

      Yes, that's one of my favorites and I love how this applies to any team, not just in sports. (Another I left off the list that is related: "slow and steady." Slow and steady might not actually win the race, but consistency is so important).

        I like that, since I'm often really slow- or just too fast- and when I'm too fast, that's when I don't do well.
