Three LAPD police officers found a Pit Bull that had been hit by a car on 108th and Central. When the officers took the dog to the veterinary hospital, they found it had been microchipped. However, when contacting the owners, they were asked to put the dog down. Although there are extensive injuries amounting to a $10,000 bill, the officers have adopted him and named him Philly.
