Lack of Confidence, Fear of Failure Hold Women Back From Being Entrepreneurs

Women often don't think they are capable of launching their own businesses, which is one reason there are significantly fewer female entrepreneurs than male entrepreneurs, according to the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor 2012 Women's Report released today.

    That's a very good question, Alessandra. It would be interesting to know how that particular research was designed and conducted to begin with (e.g. how they frame their research question).

    Those are fascinating global stats. Interesting what holds women back from becoming entrepreneurs. I wonder if it's a different reason in each region?
