The pipeline doesn't emit anything. Cars do. And they will even if the pipeline is not built. So what bomb are you talking about?

    • Vast Shadow

      Metal is corrosive.

Rust and other alkaloids residue on pipes... A farm has to be a distance from the pipe... If they build the pipe on the west coast it would have to be far away from the shore lines... For same reasons. Its also a bomb that could explode and leave an entire area contaminated and health compliances would require evacuations.

Pipe lines are liked because the reasons being -- Not needing supervision and no need to make jobs.
It is counter productive to help make jobs.

You complain but offer no alternatives that work now for energy.

    • Vast Shadow

      It wouldn't be for energy.

It would be for Canada to help pump oil for China. It would not make jobs... It would not give USA any discount to fuel. Its all Resources Obama tried to sell.

  • Vast Shadow

Yea... An GOOD voted and made 100s of websites to support the GUY that signed the bill and foreign policy that is making it... Obama.

Congress still has that on hold though. It may be pushed into production though, but its uncertain as any drilling/fracking jobs wont be made from it until years after Obama is out of the whitehouse.

But as Congress has it on hold... I wont really place any other incentives into that crap but as a few things I've had said about it before.

Obama signed foreign policy with China, giving the oil pumped from it TOO CHINA. So in the meanwhile, when we need oil from it -- We will be paying china for our own Gas.
You may have heard China in the news about Cold war `like re-occurrences... Yea, that is because we put their oil on HOLD... THANK YOU OBAMA!! Pissen off the Chinese for us... They are one of our best Allies.

Obama gave TransCanada full production contract to that... Obama gave the jobs to Canada. TransCanada evenly, turns around and contracts out to engineers in NOT USA, but India... That is right -- WE WONT SEE ANY JOBS from it.
We may see spin off jobs from it... But what town wants to build next to a pipeline? A pipeline is usually used for -- A desert... A Vast tundra... Not a country side.

Thank YOU for supporting the Obama Administration... Who supported that eye sore. Pat yourself on the back, Donkey! *mumbles incoherently*

I hate the oil industry as much as the next guy, but don't you think that if we don't enrich that oil in the states, China or somebody else will? Does stopping the Keystone Pipeline actually help reverse climate change or simply slow the process down? If we're going to take Global Warming seriously in this country, stopping a pipeline isn't going to be enough.
