Japan Remembers Bombing of Hiroshima, Worries About Nuclear Energy

68 years ago, thousands of Japanese lost their lives when the U.S. bombed Hiroshima, pushing the world into the atomic age. "We Japanese are the only people to have experienced the horror of nuclear devastation in war," said Japanese Prime Minister Shizo Abe at a gathering at Peace Memorial Park in Hiroshima almost 7 decades later. "We bear responsibility to bring about a world without nuclear weapons without fail." But with the disaster at Fukushima, nuclear energy is proving a wide concern.
