Media reform advocates have always feared that absent Net Neutrality rules, ISPs would be free to cut deals with websites to deliver their content faster. Lo & behold, this weekend Netflix, after months of being hounded, agreed to pay Comcast to ensure smooth streaming. The deal basically disembowels the FCC's goal of creating new neutrality rules (the old ones were tossed in Jan.), which critics had already declared "toothless." Is this farewell to an open and equal Internet?!
