Innovations for reducing food losses in Africa

The Rockefeller Foundation and the Global Knowledge Initiative (GKI) has just published a new report “Reducing Food Waste and Spoilage: Assessing resources needed and available to reduce post harvest food loss in Africa” in June 2014. They identified 26 innovations that can help small farmers, food traders, processors and marketers to reduce postharvest losses and improve food security.
