Injury free: How Shannon Turley is transforming football conditioning

Very cool profile on Shannon Turley, Stanford's director of football sports performance, and his approach to the training room. It starts with a functional movement screen, which "evaluates seven movements and scores players as balanced, functional, overpowered, dysfunctional and injury prone." It's working. Stanford players are gaining balance, flexibility, mobility - "real world applicable man strength." The proof: they are winning more games, and almost none of the players are getting hurt.
