A Culture sharing exhibition

Stephanie Odu

Earlier in the year we put the food and culture of Mexico under the microscope – through illustration exhibition Nixtamal. 'Nixtamal' is an Aztec word which describes corn that has undergone a lime-treating process, crucial in the making of corn tortillas. For the exhibition we asked three illustrators – Adam Bletchly and Livi Gosling from the UK and Oliver Flores from Mexico – to develop creative responses to this process.
