Infographic: The Healing Power of Cat Purrs

According to research by designer Gemma Busquets, a cats' purr has vibrations within a range of 20-140 Hz, which is therapeutic for many illnesses. Aside from lowering stress and blood pressure, risk of heart attacks, infection and swelling, purrs can help heal bones and soft tissue. I'd like to say this is the reason I have three cats, but now that I know these facts, I can justify the amount of animals I have in my two-bedroom apartment.
