    Fantastic. Here's some info about the program:

    This is for the U.K. The U.S. already sells solar panels at places like Home Depot, but it has been a specialty item in the U.K. up until IKEA made the announcement. It'll cost almost $10k for purchase and installation, but IKEA says consumers will make up their investment in about 7 years.

    Unclear whether the energy generated will go to the consumer directly or the grid, but it's going to be interesting buying cinnamon rolls and an energy future at stores (you win with the rolls regardless).
