I Love The Beatles, But This Story About Cloning John Lennon's Tooth is Too Much

A dentist in Canada purchased a tooth that belonged to John Lennon and has big plans for it. "With researchers working on ways to clone mammoths, the same technology certainly could make human cloning a reality," he has said. It's certainly an attention-grabbing move (there's a "Love Me Tooth" song) that could be the plot of a great sci-fi thriller, but it also brings to mind serious questions about ethics and the role of science in shaping our future.
