I am curious to know if they are ever looking for anyone senior (say +7 years of experience) who is also awesome at their job. I can't imagine someone in that demographic would leave stable employment for the hope of stable employment at a different company, but only after a 45 day trial period.

Thinker?! Cara, you should give them a shout out or write the question in the comments section of the blog. They're really good at getting back to you! You can even tweet at them and they'll get back to you in a jiffy.

I imagine if you're really good at your job it wouldn't matter how much experience you had. For me, the 45days is a sink or swim period. I would imagine, if it's anything like the military, that they want you to succeed, and if you can make it through the first few week then they're looking for whether or not you can execute as well.

Yeah, they're taking notes from the military. Boot Camp. Been there done that. Very smart on their part. Very smart!

I personally find a structured hiring process like this to be indicative of a company culture and leadership training. It's really cool and I hope more companies like this think of hiring this way in the future.
