    Games are an attractive way to introduce structures and materials. It is not the mastery of games processes that concern me, for the power of games is immense and valuable. My concern is about the transference of the skills learned to other areas: other games, non-game class work, and everyday activities. If nothing is done to reinforce the learning that went on in the game, the knowledge will fade and eventually be lost. My new question is this "How can we harness the learning from games in a way that transfers to long term mastery and retention of the learned skills?"
