We have a beautiful old theater facade down the street from us that the community is currently trying to save as part of a revitalization project. We hope that like the Luna it can become a point of pride and community.

Andrew, thanks for sharing this wonderful story. I love how the community stepped up to the plate and made this happen. Very inspiring!

There are a lot of opportunities like this across the country. I love seeing success stories.

Agreed re: Ghostbusters. I saw an old theater in Echo Park recently, on a street with a bunch of really amazing signs from the 50s - it was a deserted street. Such potential for awesomeness.

Even more bonus points if they have actors dressed up as the ghost busters....and a ghost.

Totally. Woah. Let's not get too Hollywood Blvd-esque though.
