How to Read Your Pet: Signs of Anxiety and What to Do About It

Pets that are skittish outside the home often have a reason, whether it involves the way strangers approach them, or how their outside environment affects them. Furrowed brows, slow movement, unsteady gazes, tails between the legs, and growling are often signs that your pet might need a moment to calm down, with a treat, in the comfort of your arms. Pay attention to your pets' body language and don't be afraid to be assertive around strangers that may make your pet uncomfortable.
