How Redesigning the Peanut Butter Jar Can Save Waste

When someone says 'food waste,' the first thing that comes to mind might be a package of berries you forgot at the back of the fridge, or bulging dumpsters outside restaurants or grocery stores. But then there are also the little things that add up—like the way the last bit of peanut butter is hard to get out of a jar. This package design is intended to make it easy to use all the peanut butter (or jelly) inside: like a push pop, the bottom of the container moves up so you don't have to dig.
