    This is FASCINATING! I had a border collie/sheltie mix and I would always say he was just like a human. Incredibly smart and quick.

      Really cool to think about how our dogs are essentially like us personality-wise. I just started fostering a Maltese who was really abused. She's also not well healthwise. My Corgie-Sheltie used to be like her, but now, with this Maltese in the house, she's more aggressive about wanting to play, and getting attention from us. Within a week of fostering this Maltese, the Maltese is now playing hide and go seek games with us, but in a really shy way...so it's interesting to think about how their personalities are affecting one another.
