How One Ad Agency Forced Russian Politicians To Fix Yekaterinburg's Potholes

The citizens behind a local Russian blog, Ura.Ru, had been so frustrated by Ykaterinburg's potholed streets that they hired ad agency Vokshod to spur politicians into action. Vokshod dispatched artists at late hours of the night to paint humorous caricatures of politicians on top of the potholes, alongside promises the politicians were quoted making to fix Yakatinburg's streets. The story went viral and not soon after, the potholes were painted over and fixed.
