How I Made a Better Educational Coloring Book for Kids in Guyana


In 2007, New Yorker Claire Hansen took a two-week trip to Guyana to visit her sister Tessa, who at the time was a Peace Corps Volunteer with the Red Cross in the capital city of Georgetown. During the trip, Claire found herself taking on a project of her own—redesigning a coloring book meant to teach kids about body awareness and inappropriate touching.
