Getting to or near zero carbon seems like such an insurmountable task. What one thing could an individual do to make the most impact?

Good question. In daily life in a places like the U.S., most impact comes from driving, powering your home, eating meat and dairy, and flying. So cutting back helps. But I think the biggest challenge is making serious changes to the overall system so it's easier and more convenient for *everyone* to make those changes. Giving political support to your representatives is really important. Check out the work that is doing.
