This event was incredibly fun to do and we're planning for more events like this in the future. Elmwood is an incredible neighborhood to live in. Old houses, nice neighbors, great tacos, and a long greenbelt for walking the dog or jogging.

Why wait fifty years for a neighborhood to mature into a beautiful classic? Instead, move to Elmwood in the neighborhood of Oak Cliff to be close to downtown and in a sturdy house constructed back when nails were driven straight with frames made out of red fur wood.

I really won't do that. As a 12 year Elmwood resident, I can tell you that it is dangerous. Every house on both sides of my street has been broken in too in the past two years....and some of us as many as 6 times. We have also had 2 shootings on our block in the past 2 months. I love my neighborhood, but it's no longer safe.

Blame the advent of the cell phone for the proliferation of crime in all places and not just in the neighborhood of Elmwood. Also, those people forced into having to suckle on a government tit during this absurd age of a jobless service economy are always going to have lots of free time on their hands..
