Fantastic! Both my boys, 14, are musicians, drummer and guitarist. I'm going to have them watch this closely and if there are any opportunities to volunteer I'll hop at the chance to have them help.

It's great what you do. I'm from Panama, and I have a website that promotes culture in my country (www.culturatop.com.pa). I would like to know more of your experience in Panama and in order to post it in my website.

Loving what you do, and would love to know more! How do you chose the communities you get involved with? The organisation I collaborate with, Sandblast, is setting up Studio-Live, a music project that aims to build a local music scene in the long-stranded Saharawi refugee camps in SW Algeria. Check it out and let us know if you see some potential for collaboration; we see lots!!! http://www.sandblast-arts.org/our-projects/studio-live/ You can write to me at violeta [at] sandblast-arts.org

I love what you guys are doing and couldn't agree more that music can be the perfect outlet for, well, anything (and in the face of various challenges). Amazing.

Hey! We should talk! We're doing something similar here in the US (right now just with studio locations in California and Nashville, expanding to Detroit), with beats, vocals, guitars, DJ gear, drums, keys, etc. Check it out: www.notesfornotes.org
