Loved watching Jiro Dreams of Sushi! The art and craftsmanship of making sushi can now be known by the world. :)

I've seen Jiro, its definitely one of the best documentary on Asian food and is also, unfortunately one of the few documentaries on Asian food.

Thanks for these suggestions! There is always the temptation to make it a Top 15 or Top 20 list... the genre is growing!

Excellent list! Looking forward to checking out those I haven't seen yet. Another I highly recommend is Our Daily Bread by Nikolaus Geyrhalter. Arresting in its minimalist approach to documentary filmmaking, it will have you wondering whether what you're watching is a bizarre science fiction film. However, the reality is far more disturbing.

Great roundup! I just heard about Dive! by Jeremy Seifert, which I'd also love to see. I don't know when I'll find the time, but I just need to watch all of these. It would be an ambitious "DO" to watch all of these, but I'm tempted.... any takers?

I might be up for the challenge! I think we should add "...and go to dinner" to the Do, b/c these are making me hungry.
