Flexible Design: Open Source, 3D Printable SLR Camera

And it works! OpenReflex is a single lens reflex camera that can be built layer by layer in a 3D printer. Created by French Design student Leo Marius, the camera comes with a fixed 1/60s exposure and can easily be adjusted to accommodate a variety of lens fittings since the mount ring is entirely custom designed. Because the camera is open source, plans for the build are freely available to anyone with a 3D printer -- it currently works on printers that use ABS, a common thermoplastic.
