Two teachers and an archeologist are trying to change how Florida kids learn about history. The city of Pensacola in particular, where local shipwrecks abound and Spanish conquistadors roamed, is the perfect setting for kid friendly historical fiction. Their latest novel, and the accompanying curriculum, aims to make a big impact in the classroom by engaging young minds in the history all around them.
