    Thanks for the great post. Fair Trade is something I've spent quite a bit of time on at my company, and it's been a challenge. I feel like there's a much greater demand for fair trade products (in the US at least) when it comes to food and agriculture than in other industries like yours (apparel and footwear) and mine (household wares and beauty products.) How do you see the shift happening in other industries--will it have to be "top down" with big and bold companies like Patagonia committing to Fair Trade because it's the right thing to do? Or do you think consumer demands and expectations will shift and business will follow? If the latter, what will cause that shift (especially since Rana Plaza didn't seem to.)

      Great points you bring up Laura. I feel like it's really up to the consumer to cause this shift. I know that businesses can do as much marketing and CSR as they want to shift conversations away from stories like Rana Plaza, but it's up to us to stop supporting those businesses with our dollars, and even Facebook likes.
