The new zoo design is interesting. However, Denmark needs to stop killing healthy zoo animals just because it can. Animals are not surplus. They are living, breathing, feeling, beings. Other zoos offered to take the baby giraffe as well as the lioness & her cubs, but the Copenhagen zoo decided to kill them anyway.

And it's no coincidence that the people are in the big concrete cage in the center.

The future of zoos, should either be NO ZOOS or with ROBOT animals only.

agreed. the argument for Zoos took a big hit with the permeation of the web as it's tough to say that they're needed now to create awareness and understanding of the planet's animals..

Is this the same country that slaughtered a baby giraffe in public and then fed it's remains to the lions? In public!

The baby giraffe was not killed in public but he was dissected & fed to the lions in public. That same zoo, in Copenhagen, also killed a lioness & her cubs because they were bringing in a younger lioness. Other zoos offered to take the giraffe & the lioness & her cubs, but the zoo killed them anyway.

The giraffe was dissected in public. The euthanizing was done behind closed doors. But thanks for trying to spread that false statement.
