Concrete that reveals floral patterns when wet could revitalize boring spaces

Based in the Netherlands, SolidPoetry is made up of two designers – Frederick Molenschot and Susanne Happle – who are trying to make concrete beautiful again. Solid Poetry looks fairly grey and lifeless – as with most forms of concrete. What’s special about this particular concrete is that when you sprinkle it with water, decorative patterns will start to emerge after a short period of time. This interesting idea could bring some life back to normally dull and uninteresting places.
